My rant on Yahoo Mail
I have used Yahoo mail for many years so it is kind of entrenched in my daily life. Even so I maintain account for Gmail (Google) and Hotmail. I have to say the Yahoo Mail spam guard is pathetic. I get a lot of email directed at me as a webmaster and much of it is spam. Much of the spam is related to products to enlarge someones manhood, OEM software and presciption medications. How hard can it be to stop these categories of emails? For Yahoo it seems to be Mission Impossible. I know Yahoo sells a professional email upgrade but I think they better rethink their strategy if they purposely limit their spam guard for those using the free version. Because if I decide to abandon Yahoo Mail, I abandon Yahoo as my home page as well. I don’t think that’s going to be very good for their business.
