My parents went on a vacation to Italy recently and they fell in love with a quaint town called Pitigliano . It is located in the area of Maremma which is part of Tuscany. Tuscany has some of the most beautiful countryside in the world.
There are so many festivals throughout the year that almost anytime you go you will have a festival to go to. There are vineyards that you can experience. There are bike yours and walking tours. An Italian vacation is more about sightseeing than doing other activities . You can walk through the villages and squares and take in the culture and the atmosphere. The spring, summer and the fall are the best times to come to Italy, it is when it is most beautiful even in Pitigliano.
